I'm just a millennial who wants to go back to her web 1.0 roots.

I love learning new things, telling myself I'm going to write today, buying new books to add to my TBR pile, and watching YouTube drama slop.

Maybe one day I might even finish writing my small-town sapphic romance novels.

About the Site

Why Neocities?

I grew up in the age of Geocities and LiveJournal, way before soulless and inauthentic social media apps. After I stumbled on a Neocities YouTube video, I knew this was where I wanted to build my online home as an aspiring author.

What's the goal here?

I've been meaning to teach myself coding beyond what I learned through LiveJournal post and layout editing, and I want to have an author space online that's not dependent on the whims of tech oligarchs.

I'm starting out with a template just to get something up and running, but the end goal is to have something aesthetic like a cork board. I even dumped a bunch of money into retro Etsy graphics for it, despite not knowing the first thing about CSS… yet.
